The lifestyle

Ducks. Dogs. Boats. Blinds.

Cold starts, boat ramps, flooded grass, and gear that has to earn its spot in the blind bag.

License checklist

Before you head out.

  • Florida hunting license

  • No-cost migratory bird permit
  • Federal Duck Stamp
  • Management area or quota permits when required

Field rules

Keep it legal.

  • Nontoxic shot only for ducks, geese, and coots
  • Shotguns must be plugged to a three-shell capacity
  • Do not hunt over baited areas
  • Check shooting hours, species limits, and WMA rules

Safety

Rules can change. Always confirm current FWC requirements before each hunt.
